How are funds used?

100% of funds raised through sales and donations go back to supporting our mission at Rising Kites.

Funds are used for:

-Rising Kites Bag Program

-Rising Kites Mom’s Morning Out

-Rising Kites Coffee

-Rising Kites Flowers

-Outreach materials

-Fundraising materials

All individuals currently working with and for Rising Kites do so as volunteers earning no compensation. It is our hope that in the future we can compensate those working at Rising Kites as well as provide purposeful jobs to those within the disability community.

How much does a bag cost?

Each Rising Kites bag costs ~$50 to build and ship. You can learn more about our bags here

Where are bags currently distributed?

Our bags are shipped to families and facilities throughout the United States and have been distributed to over 90 different healthcare facilities as of November 2023. You can see a full list of healthcare facilities we have distributed here.

How can I get flowers?

Our flowers are sold through subscriptions and at workshops. There is a limited window as to when these are available for sale in our shop. To ensure you are the first to know when they are available we encourage you to join our mailing list at the bottom of the page.
